Jansen has been climbing since 2004. Once a sponsored competitive athlete and a climbing coach; now he has opened his very own climbing gym so that more can enjoy the sport. After climbing in places such as Fontainebleau (France) and Yosemite National Park (USA), he hopes to help others discover the beauty of the great outdoors.
Jia Wei has been climbing since 2007. Using knowledge accumulated over the years in competitions and climbing overseas, he hopes to help others discover the joy of climbing and reap its physical and mental benefits. He is passionate in how climbing manages to be graceful, yet powerful at the same time and looks forward to help more people move better through climbing.
Michael has been climbing since 2003. Using his experiences from outdoor education as well as event management, he seeks to craft an environment where people from all walks of life can use climbing as a vehicle to grow. Using his route setting knowledge from French Francaise Montagne Escalade (FFME), he carefully curates the climbing experience for all of you to enjoy.
Sebastian is the Operations Manager at BM whose passion for bouldering started in 2018. With a background in calisthenics and several other sports disciplines, his training experience focused on full body strength and power endurance. Seb is always happy to discuss climbing techniques and how to train for a muscle up or front lever!
Aqidah brings a dose of personable inquisitiveness to our gym walls. Coming from a diverse background of competition climbing and fashion design, she climbs for enjoyment and with aspirations to spend more time bouldering outdoors and immersing in the glory of Yosemite National Park. Beyond the vertical, she also enjoys travelling, hiking adventures, discovering new music, illustration and painting.
Jasmin first started climbing as an intern with a rock-climbing gym in 2017. What started out as a job quickly grew into a passionate hobby. She has since set herself progressive improvement goals with an aim to take part in local bouldering competitions. Off the walls, Jasmin is a people’s person and a strong advocate for the mental and physical growth benefits of bouldering.
Joyce loves sports, especially learning about and acquiring new pursuits. Building on her active experiences in Dragon Boating, she has directed her training knowledge in strength and conditioning towards bouldering. She is particularly interested in the mixture of grace and power that bouldering brings and can’t wait to dive in deeper.
Garrett has been a movement enthusiast since 2007. What started out as a weight loss project became his lifelong passion. He has taken courses in movement, strength, and conditioning, as well as injury rehabilitation, hoping to apply his knowledge to help climbers be the best versions of themselves. His extensive credentials include being a Personal Trainer (ACE-CPT), Group Fitness Instructor (ACE-GFI), and Orthopedic Exercise Specialist (ACE-OES).
